Love in the Moment

a - love in the moment

Offers of love, in the moment,
but the moment, was all that they promised to be.
She’d had enough of the fleeting,
the quick fixes with their painful departures.
The time had come for something more,
Temporary love, had left her broken,
with all the energy it took, never leaving any in return.
She’d rather be alone, in this moment,
than have it taken by someone undeserving.
This decision was a reflection, of true love,
for her own heart.
