Don’t Sell Yourself Short

Don’t Sell Yourself Short

‘One careless owner
may come apart at the seams.
Can be used for parts―
no return, sold as seen.’

She never could sell herself
despite being told that she must.
‘In order to succeed
you should believe your own worth!’

Her instructions complicated
even the sharpest of minds.
She caused confusion and frustration
when all she wanted was more time.

You can’t hurry love
nor can you rush infatuation.
There are steps you must take
to try and solve her equation.

In the end she decided
to invest more in herself.
Nothing was worth more
than her own mental health.
