Wasted Time

You’re wasting your time, some might say
fill each moment, of every day
but I disagree, I argue my case
I allow myself time, I give myself space
to free up my mind, often writing it down
all the thoughts in my head, running around
you see my time isn’t wasted, not even a bit
to me it is precious, every second of it
even time spent relaxing, doing nothing at all
it still serves me purpose, no matter how small.
