Empathy Overload

Absorbing emotion,
empathetic osmosis,
often overloading,
her sensory motherboard.
Tries not to feel,
every damn thing,
unable to block it,
overwhelmed with feeling.
Often a curse,
but mostly a blessing,
as in this world of confusion,
she can learn understanding.
