I Miss You

I miss you, yes, I miss you,
I know I told you I’d move on,
but no matter how much I keep trying,
I can’t accept the fact you’re gone.
There are days when I feel lighter,
from remembering your smile,
then there are others I’m defeated,
and struggle to find my life worthwhile.
I miss you, yes, I miss you,
I’ll keep my promise to move on,
I will forever keep on trying,
to accept the fact, you’re gone.
