a - captivated

She captivates, with subtle movements,
hypnotic grace, everything fluid,
all eyes on her, commanding fear,
scared to look, petrified to look away.
Unaware of the danger, they are drawn to her,
yearn to be in her orbit, for a little while,
foreboding feelings, pushed aside,
they want to be the one tonight.
She lures them out of their comfort zone,
into the shadows, all alone,
a moment of ecstasy paid for with life,
too intoxicated by her, to notice the knife.
