Out Of The Comfort Zone

I tip toed out of my comfort zone,
unsure of what I’d find,
I was convinced my insecurities,
would ensure I would feel blind.
Yet the opposite has happened,
when I dared to leave my safety net,
I finally put to bed my doubts and fears,
and found my confidence, instead.
