Lifted

I’m lifted by the way,
she holds her head up high,
rising above the constant judgements, 
projecting her best smile.
I’m lifted by the way,
she gives only kindness in return,
never sinking to their level,
of abusing others just for fun.
I’m lifted by the way,
She gives with all her heart,
on a mission to give others confidence,
so that they never feel apart.

This goes out to all of those people who continue to lift others, 
by showing them that they are not alone, they are not “out of the norm”. 
I am inspired every day by wonderful humans who break all of the rules 
of what society has told us is beautiful. And THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!
