Love Song

a - love song

The melodies she sang, seemed sonorous sadness, to some.
The innocent ones, those who had never tasted heartbreak,
on their tongues and spat it out with indignation.
Her songs may scream of pain and loss,
bringing tears to the eyes of the unbroken,
but to those who understood, they rejoiced.
They felt the celebration, the acceptance and the healing.
They would smile and evoke the same strange looks, from the unknowing.
Not all love songs tell of a happy ending.  Some simply melodise survival.
The most important harmony of all.
