Breathless

She leaves me breathless, unable to exhale.
I am helpless in her presence, simply left to stand and stare.
I look upon her beauty, adoration all around,
endless cries of admiration, worshipping in her glare.

They love her.  I love her,
I just wish she wouldn’t leave me feeling so redundant,
unable to caress and dance around them,
in the only way I know how.

Ironically winded, breeze hindered,
as I wait here, deathly still,
until I can finally breathe again.
