Night Terrors

I love to watch you while you sleep
The way you take your breaths, so deep
Not a care is showing upon your face
I know that this would be replaced
If you knew that I lay beside you
Watching you and wanting to
Take those breaths, for my very own
I’m lucky this is all unknown
