Falling

falling in love.jpg

She knew she shouldn’t, she knew she mustn’t
But no matter how hard she tried, she simply couldn’t
Stop loving him and imagining a future
Where they were together, what a pretty picture.

Yet she knew she really shouldn’t, imagine this at all
As for them to be together, would bring about a fall
So deadly, swift and damaging to everyone around
Yet here she was imagining, reckless and without bounds.

For the only fall she cared about
Was deeper into love.
