Enigma

She was a mystery to most, an enigma, people chose to ignore

Yet if they had bothered to investigate, they would have seen she was something more

Than any of them could ever imagine, a saviour of souls, in this hell on earth

If they had bothered to find out, she could have shown them her worth

But they ostracized her instead, made her feel permanently excluded

So when the time came, she made sure that she exuded

Just the right amount of resentment and revenge

And left them all burning, when the time came to avenge.
