When Love Is Just A Word

Love is just a word

You said you loved me, yet filled with hate

You took away, every part of me, that was great

You said you loved me, yet filled with lust

You demanded what was yours, not what was just

You said you loved me, yet filled with remorse

You apologised repeatedly, filling me with disgust

You said you loved me, yet I loved me more

Which is why I don’t look back as I walk through the door.
