Imagination

Imagination

Imagine there were people

Yes, right over there

Imagine hearing their breathing

Feeling their cold dead stare

Am I making you uncomfortable?

By imagining such things

I’m merely preparing you darling

For they are more real than you think

What’s that?  A rattling breath

A drag of bone on wood

The feel of death approaching

You’d scream now

If you could

Imagination, such a wonderful thing

The horror and fear it can bring

You’re now having a glance

Over there

If you dare

Aren’t you?

You Should!
