As he wrote the words into his journal, little did he know

Thousands of years would pass and yet they would mean as much to others, as they did now

A time would come when his recollections, would help save lives and shape the future

For now he sits and tries to describe, everything there is to know about his culture.

The enemy is great, the fear a reality and should never be ignored

Also a Great Wolf, who would destroy all that we know, as it was foretold

His maker taught him everything he knew, of things to come but yet unsure

For his own sanity he has documented, yet one day his predictions will become reality.

** Inspired by the journal of Benjamin Garrick from Savage Wings part of the Whitechapel Chronicles by Lindsey Clarke**
