Ideal World

I often worry about the wrong things, stressing over the stuff that matters not

Are my jeans too tight, are my arms to big, do they like me much or not a lot

When in reality I should be concerned, with how I present myself each day

Not with the clothes that I am wearing but rather the type of person I choose to portray.

I should be kind and considerate to others, even if they don’t always do the same to me

I should never judge another’s appearance, or question the person they choose to be

I should care and love with all my heart, even although there’s a chance it could be broken

I should accept the love shown back to me, without thinking I’m not worthy due to flaws unspoken.

I love all of you, entirely and receive your love into my soul

I accept everything you are, despite the prejudices we are told

You are free to be yourself completely and please allow me to be the same

If only we could have a world full of understanding, rather than one full of accusations and shame.
