They tried to warn me, of his intention, I would not listen, to all their words

I thought them foolish, in their trepidation, I would follow my own mind and now it seems

They were right all along, about what he wanted, they knew exactly where this would go

So I must follow, his fateful steps, deep within the realms, of down below.


I never thought, he’d cause me harm, or perhaps I did and didn’t care

Whatever perils lay ahead, would be preferred over these mundane days

I should have listened, I should have realised, that what could be, was far more dark

I should have cared, more for my life, rather than giving it away, so foolishly.
